The latest update from S|R Software presents a pre-release for the upcoming winter season. Special highlights are the extended reservation window with comprehensive store selection and the adjustments in SPORTS RENTAL, which enable a holistic display of all reserved items. The start window has been optimized for a better user experience. A detailed description of the new components, such as the extended booking information in the main window, will follow shortly. Customers can already benefit from the new options to prepare for the upcoming season.
SR Software informs customers about the new PepperCORE interface for connecting credit card terminals to the SR Rental software. This enables integration with the latest terminal generations. The PepperCORE interface is offered at the same price as the legacy interface. Customers who need to upgrade will receive a 35% discount, new orders between 11/2022 and 07/2023 will receive a free upgrade until 01.09.2023. Orders are being accepted immediately and SRPepperCORE will begin shipping on August 21, 2023. Customers who wish to upgrade are asked to provide their license number and terminal information.
With the S|R 2023 version, SR Software offers the free Tax Free service for the simple processing of tax-free sales. Activation is easy and sales can be transferred to the processing system with one click. The printed Tax Free receipt enables customers to receive a tax refund. The new S|R Reservation Manager is the central point of contact for online reservations, with immediate display and many improvements. Reservations are visible directly in SPORTS RENTAL, without download. New features include an improved overview, optimized filters, direct reservation and model assignment as well as enhanced e-mail functionalities. The manual is available for download. For reservations received before the update, please use the old reservation window.
Skipline has made further improvements and implemented customer requests, with the shopping cart being the first important element to be designed as an attractive "slide-in" shopping cart. This makes the booking process more effective by immediately displaying the products in a shopping cart that can be opened from the side. Depending on whether on mobile or desktop devices, this is done in a suitable variant.
As the SR-REST server is already important for the new Internet reservation and will take on even more centralized tasks in the future, we have included the associated check in the system check with the upcoming SR update, and if the RestSever is not active, a warning will also be issued.

With the digital signature, you have the option of having your customers sign a digital disclaimer for online reservations or online check-ins with Skipline or Skipline Check-In. This means that you are also optimally protected against any recourse claims in the event of an online check-in or online reservation.
The Skipline dashboard serves as a control center for online reservations and check-ins. It enables real-time monitoring, management of reservation periods, adding customer and product types, assigning price groups, changing store texts and images, as well as configuring digital signatures for a disclaimer for online reservations or check-ins. The function protects against recourse claims, as the correct storage and processing of data can be verified. The dashboard also allows changes to Skipline and use without S|R Rental.
Skipline enables the quickest and easiest online reservation of sports equipment directly on your website. Through direct integration and attractive license models, Skipline has been increasing effectiveness, sales and customer satisfaction for users in Austria, Switzerland and Germany since the 2019/20 winter season.
S|R Coupon is an integrated voucher system in the S|R Rental software that makes it possible to give customers pleasure and generate guaranteed revenue at the same time. The value of the vouchers can be determined by the customer and can be combined with other promotions. The direct connection to S|R Rental makes S|R Coupon ideal for seamlessly integrating vouchers into day-to-day business, for example as an alternative for returning items.
S|R Bonus, an additional function of S|R Retail, allows customers to collect loyalty points. These bonus points are awarded for purchases made, promote customer loyalty and provide an incentive for repeat rentals or purchases. Free of charge from S|R version 2022, requires S|R Retail. The bonus system can be freely configured, e.g. only for VIP customers to strengthen customer loyalty.
S|R GoNet enables the use of basic S|R Rental functions on mobile devices, free from a fixed location. This means that rental items can be lent, exchanged and returned on the move, independently of a stationary computer. The mobile functions are particularly useful when there is a high volume of customers or when organizing rentals for groups.
S|R Customer Merge is a filter system for S|R Rental that automatically merges customer data according to specific criteria. It regularly checks the customer database and merges duplicate records, enabling automated cleansing without effort. The optimized data enables targeted marketing and customer loyalty programs, which improves the quality of your customer data and supports GDPR-compliant data collection.
Smartphone check-in enables rental customers to transmit their personal data directly to the Sports Rental software without having to use local check-in terminals. This reduces waiting times, speeds up the check-in process and lowers hardware costs. Activation is simple and requires no structural adjustments as it is seamlessly integrated into existing processes. The service can be set up within two working days.
