The SR2025 update has been available for some time and has been deployed. No further automatic updates will be installed during the season. SR2025 introduces a range of improvements and new features aimed at increasing process efficiency and enhancing system performance. Below is a summary of the most important changes:

REST Server Optimizations

The REST server has been updated to enable faster processing of availability queries and online bookings. REST API users will also benefit from improved performance.

Improvements to Online Reservations

The handling of externally transmitted bookings has been further enhanced. Problematic bookings that do not meet the specifications will now automatically be flagged as "EXTERN ONLINE." Additionally, the original designation from the external source is displayed to simplify allocation.
This information is available in both the booking overview and the ReservationsManager. The ReservationsManager allows quick assignment of external bookings with a double click on the intended price group or model.

ReservationsManager Enhancements

The ReservationsManager window has been equipped with new features:

• “Complete” Marker: Reservations can now be marked as complete, providing a better overview of the processing status. A filter function facilitates navigation.
• Edit Marking: Changes to a booking, such as assigning a different item or price group, are automatically flagged as "Edited" (red marking).
• Assignment of Available Items: External bookings can be adjusted quickly, showing only items that are actually available, thereby preventing overbooking. A double click turns an unknown "EXTERN ONLINE" booking into the correct price group or model.

Real-Time Availability Check

The new real-time check provides comprehensive inventory control. This feature is optional and can be activated or deactivated as needed:

• In cases of limited inventory, such as depot rentals, activation is recommended to avoid overbooking.
• For environments with high inventory and low online activity, the feature can be deactivated to prioritize speed.

Additional Updates

• Transactions without Transaction Numbers: This feature has been reinstated by popular demand, offering broad possibilities. The default setting remains unchanged, displaying all transactions.
• Wider List Fields: The customer search has been improved to better display long names.
• Customer Data Permissions: Changes to customer master data can now be made more easily, such as making hidden customers visible again.
• Skipline Reservations: The booking period can be set to match the reservation period via a checkbox. This function is also available for external reservations.
• Modernized Start Window: Faster loading times and support for modern browser features allow the use of up-to-date dashboards and support tools.
• Maintenance Service: The enhanced maintenance service now performs automatic database updates before the start of the day, reducing system startup tasks and accelerating the process.
• Deactivation of Automatic Merge: IMPORTANT: The automatic merge function has been deactivated to prevent conflicts with external reservations. Reactivation is possible upon request.
• Support Integration: Support can now be contacted directly from the start window.

Special Adjustments and Announcements

• Intersport Applications: Enhancements for using the Sale API and ePay.
• SkiSet Integration: Improvements to interface connectivity.
• Discontinuation of Email Import Interface: This feature is no longer supported.
• REST Server Proxy: A new proxy option has been developed, enabling access with integrated tunneling to the server, particularly useful for REST API users.
• Note Function: A new, comprehensive note function is now available. It is automatically enabled and allows for historical customer notes, with different note types and priorities. This year, it is activated as a transitional variant but can be deactivated if the simpler text window is preferred.
