The REST Server has been significantly improved technically. Equipped with the latest Microsoft development technology, it is not only noticeably faster, but also more robust. All users with a subscription will receive the update automatically.

This version, based on the latest Windows Core 8, offers significant improvements in speed and stability. With the latest Windows components, it is now up to date, efficient and optimally prepared. We are particularly pleased to present the new SPORTS RENTAL version 2024.0.14 together with this REST server version. This contains the full availability calculation at all product levels.

Until now, the availability of a price group in the rental business was not always helpful, as the item had to fit the customer exactly. An available children's shoe in the price group is of no use if you need a shoe for an adult. Therefore, “available” always went hand in hand with the selection of the model. Due to the increase in online reservations with quasi “real-time availability”, more “imprecise” reservations must also be given greater consideration.

With the new SPORTS RENTAL version, availability is now calculated in full. It now does not matter at which “level” the product was reserved. Availability includes all levels - from the item to the price group and, of course, the rentals. This is particularly important if you have just a few products in a category, as is the case with bike rental. The new fast REST server is used to ensure that the complex calculation in the background is fast enough.
