Sometimes life takes unexpected turns – and so, for personal reasons, I have decided to hand over the responsibility for our SPORTS RENTAL Software into new hands.

It was particularly important to me that you, our long-standing customers, continue to have a strong and reliable partner by your side. With Wintersteiger Sports GmbH and we have found just that partner.

Since the very beginning, we have engaged in an intense but always respectful competition with Wintersteiger as our strongest competitor – always on equal footing. Our talks were shaped by trust, openness, and a clear understanding of your needs and of the market we all share.

As of October 1, 2025, SPORTS RENTAL has a new owner, but everything else stays the same: the team you know and trust remains in place, and the upcoming winter season is well prepared with a stable, proven software version you can continue to rely on.

I will personally be stepping back from the front line, but the service and familiar contacts you trust will remain unchanged. Throughout the handover, I will continue working behind the scenes to support knowledge transfer and ensure seamless continuity.

I’m confident that this step will bring new energy, fresh ideas, and a strong foundation for the future.

I sincerely thank you for your trust — in some cases over decades — and for all the milestones, loyalty, and shared moments along the way.
